I am not getting inversion or step alerts.
Agitate delivers alerts as local notifications, so iOS has to allow them. Open the iPhone Settings app, choose Notifications, find Agitate, and turn Allow Notifications on with Sounds enabled. Inside Agitate, the Settings tab lets you choose a sound and a haptic for each kind of alert; check that the one you are missing is switched on. If a Focus mode is active, add Agitate to its allowed apps.
The Apple Watch app is not on my watch.
The watch app installs with the iPhone app. If it did not appear, open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Available Apps, and install Agitate from there. The watch shows a session once you start it on the phone, and it schedules its own alerts so it buzzes even when the phone is locked.
Does the timer keep running when I switch apps or lock the phone?
Yes. Every countdown is computed from the moment each tank started, not from seconds counted while the app was open, so when you come back the app shows the true state of every tank. Alerts are scheduled ahead of time and fire whether or not the app is on screen. The Live Activity on the lock screen shows the next event.
What are chemistry expiry reminders?
In the Chemistry tab you can keep a shelf of mixed batches with a mix date and shelf life. If you turn on Chemistry expiry alerts in Settings, Agitate schedules a local reminder shortly before a batch expires. It is off by default and never leaves your device.
How do I share or import a process?
Any process can be shared as an .agitaterecipe file from the share button on its page. Send it with the normal iOS share sheet. Opening an .agitaterecipe file from Files, Messages, or Mail opens Agitate with a confirmation sheet before anything is added to your library.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, and in your own device backups if you use them. Agitate has no account and no server. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
